La Mirada- Two suspects are being sought after stealing a vehicle at gunpoint during an altercation in the parking lot near the Sportsmen's Lounge early this morning.Two suspects in a tan Chevy Tahoe approached the victim in the Big Lots anchored shopping center in the 13900 block of Imperial Hwy at about 2:45 a.m. and demanded the Ford F-150 truck he was driving.
The victim suffered minor injuries in the fight with the suspects, who also made off with the man's wallet and I-Phone.
Both suspects are described as Male Hispanics wearing black clothing and left traveling east on Imperial Hwy.
The vehicle taken in the carjacking was located several hours later, after 8 a.m.abandoned
in the unincorporated area of Whittier.
Deputies were hopeful that video cameras in the center may assist them in identifying the two men.
