Alomdra Blvd on-ramp to 5 Freeway closing Tuesday

SANTA FE SPRINGS-    Caltrans is permanently closing the northbound I-5 on-ramp from Freeway Drive/Alondra Blvd located opposite the entrance to the La Mirada swap-meet on Tuesday April 18.

The closure is part of the Valley View Interchange expansion phase of the freeway widening project.

Caltrans suggests motorists wishing to travel north on I-5 continue west on Alondra Blvd to Carmenita Road, turn right, then travel north to the I-5/Carmenita on-ramp.

Northbound motorists can also enter the freeway from the Artesia Blvd/Knott Ave ramp.
