
Temps to hit the 90's before cool down brings relief
Weather forecasters say it's going to get a lot warmer before the region gets a break from summer-like heat that is expected to flirt with the 90 degree mark by Monday.
Saturday's high in La Mirada was 80 and is expected to be surpassed today with a high near 86.
The overnight low Sunday morning was 50.
A cooling trend will begin to take hold on Thursday as the coastal marine layer returns to the region bringing seasonal temperatures in the 70's by next weekend.

Sunday afternoon: Sunny. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph. High 86.
Tonight: Clear. West wind between 10 and 15 mph becoming calm. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Low 48.
Monday: Sunny. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest. High 90.
Monday Night: Clear. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Low 59.
