LA MIRADA- The southern industrial district of La Mirada was hit with a rash of semi-trailer thefts the first week of March.
Seven semi-trailers were reported stolen on Friday March 4 and Saturday March 5, on Industry Circle, Phoebe Avenue, and Valley View Avenue. Two of the trailers were loaded with cargo.

Tues March 1
8:26 a.m. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 15600 block of La Barca Drive.
9:30 a.m. A petty theft from a business was reported in the 13300 block of Beach Blvd
Weds March 2
10:00 p.m. A grand theft was reported in the 14900 block of Northam Street. Two sewer grates were stolen from the parking lot of a business.
Thurs March 3
5:00 p.m. A vehicle burglary was reported in the 12800 block of Colima Rd. Tools were taken from a work truck.
10:30 p.m. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 14800 block of Figueras Rd.
Fri March 4
Midnight A residential burglary was reported in the 14400 block of Placid Drive in South Whittier.
Sat March 5
9:30 a.m. A commercial vehicle was reported stolen in the 14200 block of Neargrove Rd.
Sun March 6
4:20 p.m. A residential burglary was reported in the 12100 block of Grovedale Drive in East Whittier.
