Teacher Arrest
A Whittier P.E. teacher also employed as a La Serna High School coach was arrested Wednesday morning following an investigation of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 14 year-old.
The investigation was triggered on Tuesday after officials at East Whittier Middle School where Serrato is also employed notified Whittier Police after they learned of the allegations.
