The work will include installation of new playground equipment, new sand and, protective surfacing as well as along new curbing to complete what appears to be a larger children's play area when completed.
Neff Roofing Project
Work also began Monday at on a re-roofing project at Neff Park.
About a half-dozen workers with Best Contractors could be seen installing safety fencing and removing the old roofing shingles at both the Neff Barn and adjoining George Home Monday afternoon.
Work will also include the roofing at the Neff Home.

Creek Park update
City staff is looking at a number of possible funding sources at the federal, state and county level which could include monies for watershed renewal projects.
The project timeline has been pushed back for years, and all signs point to many more years of waiting.
