2:55 p.m. An arrest on an assault charge was made in the 15000 block of Costa Mesa Drive after a domestic argument turned physical.
9:13 p.m. A deputy stopped a driver that had reportedly been driving impaired through La Mirada at drunk driver Telegraph Rd. and Telechron Av in South Whittier. After a field sobriety test, the driver was placed under arrest for DUI.
