Skies will be sunny early today as a storm system approaches the area that will bring a few days of wet weather beginning as early as tonight
according to the National Weather Service.
The approaching storm is forecast to be more intense than the
weak system that passed through La Mirada on Friday that
measured .07 of an inch of rain.
The storm is expected to peaked on Monday in time for the morning commute and will taper of Monday night and linger with occasional rain and showers into Wednesday.
We can expect a half-inch to and inch of precipitation on Monday followed by another .10 to .25 of an inch Tuesday and Wednesday.
Forecasters are watching a second system that may move through the area Thursday night.

Monday- 100 % chance of rain. High 63.
Monday night- Rain likely before 10pm. Chance of precipitation 60% Low 51.
