LA MIRADA- Visiting Artesia took an early 1-0 lead capitalizing on a La Mirada error in the 1st inning before turning on it's offense scoring 14 runs on 16 hits en route to a 14-4 victory Wednesday.
The Matadores (5-10, 4-1) were led by shortstop Andres Rodgrigez' three runs in the first of back-to-back games against the struggling Pioneers (1-9, 1-1).
La Mirada also had four players that scored twice, on team that is building some momentum winning 4 of 6, after starting the season 1-8.
