The following incidents were reported to La Mirada deputy sheriff's this month. The following entries do not comprise all police activities occurring in the city.
Sun Aug 1 3:00 p.m. A bike was reported stolen in the 14500 block of Telegraph Rd. The bike was left unattended outside a business unlocked.
Sun Aug 8 12:30 a.m. A petty theft from a vehicle was reported in the 121000 block of Tanfield Dr.
Thur Aug 12 10:55 a.m. A stolen vehicle was recovered at Imperial Hwy and La Mirada Blvd.
Tues Aug 17 12:02 a.m. A stolen vehicle was recovered by Whittier Police in the 15100 block of Leffingwell Rd.
Thur Aug 19 10:00 a.m. Auto parts were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 14800 block of Imperial Hwy.
The following incidents were reported in adjoining unincorporated areas during the same period:
Tues Aug 10 10:00 a.m. A petty theft from a vehicle was reported in the 14900 block of Leffingwell Rd.
Sun Aug 15 4:45 p.m. A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 11300 block of La Mirada Blvd.
Sat Aug 21 1:00 p.m. A burglary from a vehicle was reported in the 14500 block of Leffingwell Rd.
