Saturday, Dec. 1


11:16 a.m.     A domestic violence-related assault was reported to deputies in the 14700 block of Aranza Drive.

Sunday, Dec. 2

4:00 p.m.    A misdemeanor arrest was made at Alondra Blvd and Valley View Ave for a weapons law violation.

4:30 p.m.     An assault was reported in the 13900 block of Imperial Hwy.

Monday, Dec. 3

2:00 a.m.      A misdemeanor arrest was made at Valley View Av and Alondra Blvd for possession of a controlled substance

Tuesday,  Dec. 4

7:50 a.m.       Shoplifting was reported in the 12300
 block of La Mirada Blvd.


10:30 a.m.     A generator was taken by force during a robbery in the 14900 block of Firestone Blvd.

6:40 p.m.       Felony vandalism (loss $400 or more) was reported in the 14800 block of Alondra Blvd.

Wednesday, Dec. 5

1:11 p.m.      A misdemeanor arrest was made for possession of a controlled substance in the 14100 block of Alondra Blvd near Valley View Av in Santa Fe Springs.

7:00 p.m.      A misdemeanor arrest was made at Trojan Way and Desman Rd. for possession of a controlled substance.

Saturday, Dec. 8

5:30 p.m.        A vehicle was reported stolen from the 14900 block of Gagely Drive.

Also reported to deputies (from La Mirada Public Safety Dept.)

*  Deputies are investigating an assault in the 15800 block of Imperial Hwy.  The victim was found laying on the ground by witnesses.
*  No loss was reported in a residential burglary in the 14600 block of Jalon Rd.  A window was smashed out to gain entry.
*  Two more storage units were broken into in the 15000 block of Alondra Blvd.
*  An office was broken into in the 14700 block of Beach Blvd.
* Three vehicles were broken in to in the 14300 block of Firestone Blvd, and a fourth was broken into in the 12300 block of La Mirada Blvd.
*  A resident found a packaged delivered to a home in the 12600 block of Biola Ave was opened, and its contents were taken.
*  A suspect was arrested in connection with a recent bicycle theft from Biola University.
