Deputies struggle with La Mirada assault suspect during arrest

La Mirada-  A man arrested this morning at a La Mirada convenience store sustained  minor

injuries after he became uncooperative and resisted deputies attempting to detain him after a witness reported he had been beating a female.

The assault at the 7-11 at 15006 Alondra Blvd was reported at 7:54 a.m. and deputies were able to quickly detain the man after finding that he was still near the store when they arrived two minutes later

The man was placed under arrest after further investigation for the assault and resisting.
