Buena Park- Officials from the California High-Speed Rail Authority are hosting an open house early this evening and will update those attending hear more details of what is being planned for the 30-mile southern segment that will run from Los Angeles Union Station south to the Anaheim Rail Station.
This will be the last of five updates in different locations along the corridor will contain information about grade crossing separation plans, and what stations might be relocated, and why.

La Mirada News Source has already learned that the current design calls for an elevated crossing over Rosecrans Ave at Marquardt Ave.
Officials are not revealing what if any measures will be taken to mitigate increased noise only stating that those features will be added later in the design and planning stage.
La Mirada has 1.8 miles of residential neighborhoods bordering the planned corridor, the longest of any community along the 30- mile route.
Tonight's event begins at 5:30 p.m.for two hours at the Buena Park Community Center 6688 Beach Blvd, which is located behind the Police Station and includes a 6 p.m. presentation.
The venue can also be easily accessed by using Stanton Ave and turning right on Pinchot Drive immediately after passing Auto Center Drive and crossing over the Santa Ana Freeway.
HSR states the information presented this evening will be identical to the earlier open houses.
