Sept. 13, 2018  7:21 p.m.

Norwalk-   A jury has found Reyna Gomez, 27, of Whittier, guilty in the April 29, 2017 shooting rampage across four communities that left a man dead in La Mirada, and three others with gunshot wounds.

Gomez took turns with her boyfriend, Alejandro Lazo, 21, of Whittier taking random shots at numerous victims as they drove two different stolen vehicles through parts of Whittier and La Mirada over a two-hour period.

The crime spree ended with the fatal shooting of Jose Sahagun, 44, of Norwalk while he stopped waiting for a red light at Santa Gertrudes Av and Alicante Road.  Sahagun died of gunshot wounds as his two young sons and wife looked on helplessly.

A trial for the second defendant, Mr. Lazo will commence next year.

This story is developing and will be updated.
