The National Weather Service is calling the month of July 2018 one of the warmest on record locally and August will begin warmer than normal with highs in the low 90's through the weekend.
Next week will even be warmer with daytime highs moving into the mid 90's by Monday.
On Tuesday the month of July closed out with a high of 95 in La Mirada. The warmest day of the month was 113 degrees on July 6th.
Today above normal humidity will result in another muggy day as the high is expected to hit 93, followed by an overnight low tonight of 70.
