Deepening marine layer could cause fog and heavy drizzle during morning commute

LA MIRADA-   Tues May 30,

Memorial Day is accepted by many as the unofficial start of the summer season, but a low pressure trough moving in from the north will bring several days of cool overcast days, overnight patchy fog, and drizzle.

This morning the marine layer will begin a gradual burn off after 11 A.M. and we could see a sunny late afternoon and a high today about 71.

The marine layer will return overnight with a again of patchy fog and heavy drizzle, and a breezy chilly low of 59.

Wednesday will be a replay of today, high 70,, and warmer beginning Thursday, reaching into the low 80's by Friday.
