LA MIRADA A fire sparked by a space heater malfunction caused serious damage to a Hillsborough neighborhood home Tuesday evening.Crews from four Los Angeles County Fire companies aided by and engine from the Fullerton Fire Station on Rosecrans Avenue responded to the blaze reported in the 16600 block of Blackburn Drive at 6;57 pm.
Firefighters remained on scene for nearly four hours.
There were no injuries in the blaze that will result in a loss of approximately $150.000.
