La Mirada crime news March 7 to 16

LA MIRADA   


The latest crime reports filed by La Mirada Sheriff's deputies.

Tuesday March 7

2:35 a.m.   Vandalism with a loss under $400 was reported in the 13300 block of Beach Blvd.

1:55 p.m.   A vehicle was broken into in the 14800 block of Telegraph Road.

7:12 p.m.    An auto parts theft was reported in the 15500 block of Heron Ave.

Wednesday March 8

2:00 a.m.    A vehicle break-in was reported in the 15900 block of Alicante Road.

2:00 p.m.    An arrest was made alleging a probation violation at Cawood Ave and Elmrock Ave.

Friday March 10

11:20 a.m.  An arrest was made at Creek Park for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Saturday March 11

12:15 a.m.  An arrest in the 15800 block of Formby Drive was made alleging driving while under the influence.

Sunday March 12

3:00 a.m.   A grand theft of auto parts was reported in the 14100 block of Priscilla Street.

Wednesday March 15

1:00 a.m.   An arrest in the 13800 block of Larwin was made alleging possession of a controlled substance.

8:40 a.m.   An aggravated assault was reported in the 13900 block of Triad Drive.  The extent of the injuries raised the level of the crime to a felony.

Thursday March 16

2:14 a.m.   An arrest for possession of a controlled substance occurred at Alondra Blvd and Trojan Way.

1:55 p.m.   A robbery was reported in the 15100 block of Badlona Drive.  Force was used against the victim, no weapon was seen.

Also....

Several crime reports were filed late with deputies, including two residences had been broken into on March 4th in the 13900 block of Elmbrook Drive and the 14300 block of San Cristobal Drive.

Another late report filed reported a theft from an unlocked vehicle overnight on March 1st in the 16200 block of Summershade Drive..
