The Matadores' Thursday night loss at the hands of rival La Serna(3-1), 32-28 was enough to topple La Mirada (1-3) from the Week 3 CIF-SS Southeast Division top ten polling conducted Monday.
West Covina holds the top spot after defeating Glendora this past weekend.
Thr only Suburban League team to crack the top ten is Norwalk (2-2) at #5 after a 44-14 victory versus Morningside.
La Serna placed #6 in the Southeast Division, and La Habra is in the #5 spot in the Southwest.
In the Suburban League standings, Bellflower (3-1) holds the top spot, followed by Norwalk (2-2), Cerritos (1-2) in third, and La Mirada is at 4th.
La Mirada goes on the road for their next game Thursday versus division rival Artesia.
