No relief expected from heat wave until midweek
Forecasters at the National Weather Service predict there will be no let up from the heat wave until Wednesday at best.
The hottest days will be Sunday through Tuesday, which could see daytime highs go well above 100.
Friday the high in La Mirada was 96 followed by a overnight low this morning of 59.

Saturday afternoon: Sunny and hot. Calm wind becoming southwest between 5 and 10 mph. High 97.
Tonight: Clear. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast. Low 64.
Sunday: Sunny and hot. Calm wind becoming southwest between 5 and 10 mph. High 97.
Sunday night: Clear. West southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph becoming calm. Low 67.
Monday: Sunny and hot. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest. High 103.
