The following reports are a sampling of incidents reported to deputies during the time period.
Thur Aug 5 4:00 p.m. A theft of copper wiring was reported at La Mirada High School. The wiring was taken from the athletic field.
Sun Aug 15 12:30 p.m. A report was taken on a vehicle that was broken into in the 13800 block of La Mirada Blvd. Cash was stolen from a wallet left inside the vehicle.
Sun Aug 15 8:30 p.m. A vehicle burglary was reported in the 15200 block of Greenworth Dr.
The following incidents were reported in the East Whittier area adjoining La Mirada.
Weds Aug 4 5:00 p.m. A vehicle burglary was reported in the 11500 block of Santa Gertrudes Ave.
Thur Aug 5 4:50 p.m. A man entered a residence in the 11700 Tidwell Ave taking the victims purse while she was in another room in the home.
Sat Aug 7 6:00 p.m. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 11700 block of Tidwell Ave.
Sun Aug 8 1:07 a.m. An assault was reported in the 15400 block of Wilmaglen St. The suspect allegedly was swinging a pipe or pole at the front door in a domestic dispute fleeing prior to deputies arrival.
Sat Aug 21 Midnight A vehicle was reported stolen in the 15700 block of Richvale Dr.
Mon Aug 23 1:00 a.m. A theft of coins was reported in the 12400 block of Breezewood Dr from washing machines coin boxes.
Mon Aug 23 6:00 p.m. A burglary was reported at Hillview Middle School 10915 Stamy Rd.
